Admission
Nothing here is ticketed. The square and its arcades are public street and never close; only the railed garden in the middle, the Square Louis-XIII, is locked at night. It opens at 08:00 on weekdays and an hour later at weekends, and the city moves its closing time with the season, so read the board at the gate. Victor Hugo's apartment in the corner is a city museum with its own hours and closes on Mondays; its permanent rooms are normally free, but a big temporary show can put the whole house behind one ticket, so check before you climb the stairs.
