Online City Tours is published from France. The details below are the ones the law requires a trader to give a consumer before they are asked to buy anything, so they are on the page rather than in a document you would have to request.

Payment runs on Stripe Managed Payments. Under that arrangement a Stripe company is the merchant of record: it is the party that charges your card, works out and pays the VAT or sales tax due where you are, issues the receipt, and answers the card scheme if you dispute the charge. That is why the line on your statement says Stripe rather than us, and why the receipt carries their tax registration.

The walk itself is ours. We write the stops, record the narration, build the hunts, run the server that checks your answers, and read the email. A refund is agreed with us and then paid out through Stripe. The terms set out which of us does what, in detail.

The pages, the database and the narration files are served from Cloudflare's network. No copy of the site runs anywhere else.

The stop descriptions, the narration scripts and recordings, the riddles, the routes and the design of this site are ours and are protected by copyright. Buying a pass buys the use of them on your own walk. It does not buy the right to republish them, to train a model on them, to sell a tour built from them, or to run a paid group walk off our text.

The street map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data through OpenFreeMap and used under the Open Database Licence; the credit sits under every map on the site and stays there. The typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font Licence.

If you think something here is yours, write and say which page and which passage. We would rather take a paragraph down and check than argue about it.

One address takes everything: a question about a tour, a refund, a privacy request, an accessibility problem, a complaint. Write in English, French or Romanian. We answer within three working days and usually the same day.
