The grounds open every day, but the house interiors are unlocked only Wednesday to Sunday — come midweek or later if you want to step inside rather than walk between them. The last ticket is sold an hour before closing, and through the winter season the whole site shuts at five. It is entirely outdoors and there is almost no shelter — check the forecast first.
