Admission
Sightseeing fits around the orchestra. The Philharmonic publishes a day-by-day visiting timetable on its site at the start of every month: on the days it is open to sightseers the hall can be seen from nine to six, and rehearsal and concert days are marked unavailable — including long stretches of them. Check the exact date before you set out. The visitor's ticket costs a few lei and is paid in cash at the artists' entrance on Strada Benjamin Franklin, or at the box office on Strada Constantin Esarcu, which shuts for high summer. A concert remains the better way in.
