- The steps below the palace and the view from them are free at any hour. Inside, the museum opens Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 to 18:00 from October to April and 10:00 to 20:00 from May to September, and 10:00 to 15:00 on Sundays and public holidays all year. It closes on Mondays other than public holidays, and on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. The general ticket is €12 and stays valid for two days within a month, including the rooftop viewpoint; a basic €2 ticket buys the building and the rooftop only. Entry is free on Saturdays from 15:00 and on the first Sunday of the month, but those free slots must be reserved online in advance.
