- Admission
- No ticket, no seat booked: you stand, or you sit on the steps. The fountain runs only on show nights. The current season is 3 June to 27 September, Wednesday through Sunday, with the display window between 21:30 and 22:30. The city's own page contradicts itself on the exact start times inside that window, so treat the window as the reliable part and check the page on the day you go. Individual nights are cancelled for weather, for maintenance and for events on the hill, and the fountain shuts down for a long stretch over the winter whose dates the city does not publish far in advance. Come twenty minutes early if you want the front of the basin.
