Free, and gated. The park opens in the morning, between roughly half past seven and ten depending on the entrance and the area, and unlike most city parks it stays open late, closing from half past ten at night rather than at the usual seven in winter or nine in summer. Closing times can be moved for events or incidents. One thing to know before you walk over for it: the Cascada fountain is currently stopped for cleaning works, with no restart date published, so it may well be dry when you arrive. When it runs it keeps the park's hours with an hour's break at midday and is lit after dark. The rowing boats on the lake keep shorter hours.
