The times listed are the market's, not the square's: the produce and flower stalls trade from early morning until early afternoon, and by mid-afternoon the crates are gone and the cobbles have been hosed down for the evening drinking. There is no market at all on Sunday. Nothing here is ticketed and nothing needs booking. The stalls nearest the statue of Giordano Bruno have drifted towards souvenirs, packaged spice mixes and dried pasta at tourist prices; the genuine greengrocers are at the far end. The square is one of the loudest night-time spots in the centre, which matters if you are staying on it, and the restaurants ringing it charge accordingly.
