Vyšehrad

The other castle — founding legends, a national cemetery and sunset ramparts.

Grounds, ramparts and the cemetery are free, and the park has no gate to close — sunset from the walls costs nothing. The hours above belong to the ticketed interiors: the casemates with the Gorlice hall and the basilica. The Gothic cellar has been shut while its exhibition is replaced, so ask at the information centre inside the Tábor Gate rather than counting on it. The cemetery keeps its own daylight hours and locks up earlier in winter.
