Guided visits only, about forty-five minutes, leaving at set times through the day from the desk inside the Mariánské náměstí gate; Prague City Tourism is the only official seller, at that desk or online, and tickets for the coming fortnight go on sale each Monday. The first two tours of the morning are half price. The library is viewed from its doorway, as at Strahov, and the tower is 172 steps with no lift. The last tour of the day leaves well before the closing time above.
