Treasure hunt · Bucharest
Four riddles that send you inside Bucharest's greatest collections.
This trail is the prize for finishing another one. There is no way to buy it; it unlocks itself the moment you complete the hunt before it.
The reward trail. Four museums, four riddles you can only answer once you're through the door — a royal palace, a postal palace, a natural-history hall and a village rebuilt on a lakeshore. Take them in any order, over one long day or two short ones: the two northern museums are a metro ride from the centre, the walking between them is flat, and each museum charges its own admission on top of the trail.
That is the game. A hunt tells you nothing but the first riddle; the place it points at is what you work out, and printing the list here would be printing the answers. What we will say is the shape of it: 4 riddles, 6.5 km, about A full day, and every stop is somewhere you can reach and see without paying an admission.
Three central stops from the full map, unabridged. The city pass opens the other twenty.
